Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made via eTicketFare.com. By completing a booking with us, you agree to be bound by this policy, along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Please read the following carefully to understand the rules governing cancellations, refunds, and modifications of travel bookings.

1. Overview

At eTicketFare.com, we strive to ensure a smooth travel experience for our customers. We understand that plans may change, and we are here to support you through our structured cancellation process. However, cancellation policies are largely dictated by the terms and conditions of the airline or travel service provider involved.

This policy outlines:

  • The rules applicable to flight cancellations and modifications

  • Conditions for obtaining refunds

  • Our process for handling Force Majeure situations

  • Your responsibilities in case of a change in plans

2. General Cancellation Guidelines

2.1 Who Can Cancel

Only the user who booked the flight through their registered eTicketFare.com account is authorized to initiate cancellation requests. You may cancel via:

  • Your account dashboard on our website

  • Our Customer Support team (email or phone)

2.2 Types of Tickets

Cancellation eligibility depends on the fare type:

  • Refundable Tickets: Eligible for a refund (subject to applicable airline fees)

  • Non-Refundable Tickets: May not be eligible for any refund; however, some taxes may be reimbursed

  • Partially Refundable Tickets: Partial refunds may be offered depending on the airline policy

2.3 Third-Party Airline Rules

Each airline maintains its own cancellation policy. eTicketFare.com adheres strictly to these rules and acts as an intermediary during the process.

3. Cancellation Timeline and Charges

3.1 Time-Based Rules

Airlines generally allow:

  • Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking (if travel is more than 7 days away)

  • Full or partial cancellation with penalties, depending on the time before departure

Note: Last-minute cancellations are rarely refundable.

3.2 Cancellation Fees

The following charges may apply:

  • Airline-imposed cancellation or change fee

  • eTicketFare.com service charge for processing the cancellation (as listed at the time of booking)

You will be informed of the total deduction before the refund process begins.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds are processed only when permitted by the airline’s policy. The following scenarios are considered:

  • Voluntary cancellation by the passenger

  • Schedule changes or cancellations initiated by the airline

  • Medical emergencies (documentary proof required)

4.2 Refund Method

All refunds, when approved, will be:

  • Issued in the original form of payment

  • Credited within 7–30 business days (depending on the airline)

eTicketFare.com will issue a refund initiation email once the airline confirms the refund.

4.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued in cases such as:

  • No-shows without prior cancellation

  • Denied boarding due to incomplete documentation

  • Refusal of travel due to visa or passport issues

  • Failure to comply with baggage or check-in rules

5. Change or Reschedule Policy

5.1 Process

You can request date changes or rescheduling by:

  • Logging into your eTicketFare.com account

  • Calling our support team

5.2 Charges

Modifications may incur:

  • Airline rescheduling fees

  • Fare difference, if any

  • eTicketFare.com change handling charges

All changes are subject to seat availability and applicable fare conditions.

6. No-Show Policy

6.1 Definition

A “No-Show” occurs when a passenger does not cancel their booking and fails to show up for the scheduled departure.

6.2 Consequences

No-shows result in:

  • Automatic cancellation of the entire booking by the airline

  • No eligibility for refund or rescheduling

  • Forfeiture of the entire fare paid

7. Special Circumstances

7.1 Medical or Emergency Cases

If cancellation is due to a medical emergency, the following may be considered:

  • Submission of valid medical documents (hospital admission, doctor’s note)

  • Written application requesting a waiver

While we will forward such requests to the airline, the final decision remains with the airline authority.

8. Force Majeure

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, eTicketFare.com shall not be held liable for cancellation, delay, or failure to deliver services. Such events include but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms)

  • Acts of terrorism or war

  • Political unrest or government-imposed travel bans

  • Pandemics, epidemics, or other public health emergencies

  • Airline strikes or technical failures

  • Airport closures or air traffic disruptions

In such cases:

  • We will make every effort to assist you in rebooking or getting refunds/vouchers based on the airline’s Force Majeure policy.

  • Refunds are subject to third-party rules and may take longer due to volume or crisis situations.

  • No compensation shall be offered for losses arising from such events.
